Hehehe!! Anyway I am at work in the cube really not wanting or feel like doing a damn thing, but the boss is back so I must work like a slave. Hee Hawww!!

A Mayor and his "Lie-berry"

I received a phone call today from the Mayor of Lake Mississippi, wherever that is at, and he wanted to know the names of the companies that were down here for the Katrina clean up. I started to tell him to call the mayors office and he cut me off by saying I tried to the 6254,which is the mayors #, and I keep getting the Lie-berry. Now what in the hell is a LIE-BERRY. It's people like him that gives us Mississippi folks a bad name. Everyone is under the impression we are retarded and bare foot and pregnant. Well I live on the coast and we are not like that. I cannot speak for the rest of the state but I can for us Gulf Coast people. I damn sure know our mayor doesn't call the library a LIE-BERRY for god sakes.

I know I call a wreath and wreef..but that all stems back from a joke a long long time ago from this guy I knew who pronounced anything ending with a TH as a F.

Example:

Tooth= Toof
Wreath=Wreef
Teeth= Teef

and so on..you get the point so now it is out of habit that I do that. Anyway back to my ranting. THIS WAS A FREAKING MAYOR PEOPLE...A MAYOR... I still can't believe it. I am in utter awe. The bitch that I am I am surprised I didn't say you mean library. What a goof ball!!

While the Cat's Away the Mouse will play...

Today we were boss free in the HR world so I decided I would bring the good ole handy dandy investment (my camera) to work and we would play like we were photographers. The last pic we had of us together was when I was 9 months pregnant and big as a house. Today we got some funny shots of us. I don't know how we didn't get fired all the noise we were making by laughing so hard.

Yeah we think we the Charlie's Angels..We'll just call ourselves the HR Angels.

Sharon trying to give me a cow kiss

This is a pretty good one..sorry it's so far away..that's what happens when you reduce size for this blog..hmpf the nerve of blogger to make me compromise.

Take that BE-OTCHES!! BOO YAH- In your face.

Tah Dah this is the real pic that will now hang in our cubicles. We will call it our annual pic that will hang until next year.

Oh hell no it won't either I am fixing to get my body back rockin and we will update this pic again sometime in March when I am all fixed up.

Well I must go to bed I am tired after my day long photo shoot. BAHAHAHAHA!!

Why do I have to be Chatterbox?

KII
You are CHATTERBOX paper!
You enjoy being a social butterfly and tend
sometimes to think of scrapbooking more as a
social event! When at a crop you might find
yourself talking more than scrapping! But
that's okay, when you do do a page it is bright
and sunny just like your personality!

Chatterbox paper is okay but not particularly my favorite paper. The description though is definitly me. I love to chat it up.

Christmas Wreaths Are Made....

Today was the wreath party and it was 4 of us. We had a great time. Elizabeth and I think we have decided that we should do this every holiday. It was refreshing to just sit down and socialize, laugh and craft. Hey that rhymed. I'm a poet and didn't know it.. Gee there I go again. Anywho...

On the Menu:

Cocktail weenies
"Mock" Oyster Dip served w/Frito's
Egg Salad
Chai
Olive Tree
Chocolate Passion Bowl

I just had a light lunch for everyone.

Wish I could show you a pic but it didn't turn out. I forgot to look at it and moved on to something else. DARN!

I do however, have a pic of the olive tree that Elizabeth made for the table. It's the cutest damn thing..

YUM YUM!!

He we are just a working away at our creations

I tell ya I just can't get over that it is Christmas already. It sure doesn't feel like it around here in good ole Mississippi. It was 72 degrees today. We had to turn on the AC. That is ridiculous if I say so myself. I was in shorts for crying out loud.

Daddy's Little Girl...

While in the middle of the chaotic decorating day Melana just out of the blue runs up grabs her daddy's face and kisses him. Of course I didn't have my camera so I ran and got it for when she did it again. Usually she will come back for seconds and thirds after the first time. Of course I was armed and ready for it when she did it, and as I suspected the little devil did.

Little stinker

After 7 hours the decorations are finally up..WOO HOO

I am so excited for the Christmas season. Mason is finally old enough to understand santa claus and he is so excited. Today he hasn't been feeling so hot so he stayed in bed most of the day. Occassionally he came out to supervise the tree production we had going on. Here are a few pics I snapped while in the 7 hour process. I don't know why in the hell it takes so long to do this crap but it does and I am over it for a while. Next weekend I will finish the outside decorations, lights and inflatables we have left to get up and on the house.
Of course all day I had to here from O'Neil "isn't this fun"..he was being a smart ass because he is a scrooge and he huffs and puffs at all my doings for christmas. I have 9 huge ass totes full of christmas stuff and he moans every year so this year i am on the man hunt for a decoration that say's BAH HUMBUG! in lights. I am going to hang that from the fence in the front so everyone can see.

The very top lights aren't working because we can't find the plug that goes to it. That's another project for him to groan about tomorrow. The slave driver gave him off the rest of the night.

This is one of those really annoying animated caroling sets that sings and twirls around. It is loud as hell and of course my 2 have to play it over and over and over. I am secretly wishing the thing blows up...

Awww the grinch stockings are my favorite. Dearest mommy made them for me 2 years ago.

Sure hope he doesn't bring me coal this year

She decided she wanted to stand by santa. She's going to crap her pants when she see's him in person. Thank goodness she wears diapers still

Mr. Perfect isn't so Perfect after all...

The going joke around here is O'Neil is sooooo perfect he doesn't ever do anything wrong. Well Well my friend I am here to tell you different. Today after the 4 hour journey for a tree which should have taken 30 minutes he decides he is going to install the new jeep seat. Well he is out there forever and a day screwing with it. He comes in and tells me gosh I have been out there for 40 minutes trying to take that seat out and it just won't budge. Hmm I said. You know boo boo I am a pretty strong guy and I just can't get it loose. Oh really I say. Well he goes to the shed and pulls out all these different wrenches and sockets and all that crap and he is messing with it for about another 40 minutes then he comes inside in tears and tell me. You know I was turning the damn thing the wrong way all that time. He was tightening the screw and bolts instead of un doing it. I was rolling....What should have taken him 20 minutes took him 2 1/2 hours. He said I was thinking righty tighty lefty loosy but I just was going the wrong way. How hysterical is that for Mr. Perfect. Now we are even.

Still messing with the seat

Still at it frustrated as ever

It's finally installed and I am checking out my co-pilot seat

Whew! What a Shopping Day!

Well today I woke up at 6:00 got dressed and made a mad dash to Michael's to scoop up on some wreaths for my wreath party and few other goodies. Now keep in mind I need nothing else for scrapbooking, but what do I do... I buy more. Yes I am suppose to be in and out with only wreath's. Nope I had to have this great paper I found. I justified my spending on it because it was 180 sheets of patterned paper for 10.17. It's regularly 19.99. Who can pass up that bargain, right? So I mosey on over to the tool section and I see they have there xyron machines for 40% off. So what does Greta do... she has to have one. Then I notice this eyelet setter. I have one now but it's not as cool as this one so it was on sale for 17.99 threw that in the buggy also. This one is a must cause it has interchangeable attachments to go on it and you can emboss with it to. In my mind hey why not, right. I figure this one will make my life easier because it is a punch down setter vs. the one I have where you have to do all that shit manually. Next on my list I hit the ribbon section. Buy a butt load of Christmas ribbon. Why you ask? Well because it was on sale also. A girl can never have too much ribbon. I am a complete sucker for a good bargain. Might never use it but just in case I need it I have it.
Here are a few pics of my bargains.

Oh how I will love this thing

Isn't it great patterns? I thought so anyway!

Had to have these for my wreath I am doing Sunday

Yep that's my bargain setter/embosser

I used my Turkey Bucks I cut out the paper and save myself $40.00 on top of my great savings from sales. Woo Hoo. Sucker for a good bargain..

Anyhoo... On to K-Mart..stopped in to see if they had a few things I might need and ran across this organizer in the tool section. I thought hmmm this would be great for all my MAC make-up. I can buy my make-up a new house and move it out the 3 tier tackle box it's in now. Yes my make-up is in a tackle box. Funny huh! So i purchased this 39 drawer organizer and it now sits nice and pretty on my bathroom counter flush with the wall. I love it

Do you think I need more? My compartments aren't quite full yet

You welcome MAC for a new home. I know your glad to be out the tackle box.

Next I move to Lowe's for a Christmas tree. I really wanted a real one but I didn't want to pay that outrageous price just to throw it away in 4 weeks so I get this brilliant idea I will go to Lowe's and get the one in the ad for $139...WRONG! They were out....so the fruitcake working said oh they have some at the Gautier Lowe's so we pack up and head there. 2 cities away mind you. Get there and the guy says Oh no we sold them all today. OK back at square one. So then I have to hear how we should have called and verified that ourselves before we drove all the way over there. Blah Blah Blah!! So the guy says let me call the Pascagoula store and see if they have any so he calls the store and yes they have 1 and it's the model so I decide ok what the heck let's get the model and we don't have to put it together because it's already together. Well I get there and I start looking at the tree and don't like it. Yea...O'Neil at this point is huffing and puffin because we have been all around the country for a tree and I don't like it. Well I was bitching because I didn't want to spend a whole lot on a tree but I turn around and there was the greatest fake tree I have ever seen. It looked so real. So I asked the chick what's the price well she tells me $299. I bout shit my pants. I thought jeez I go from a $139 to $299. So I wait for an hour with screaming kids and a pissed off husband just to get my tree. Needless to say I was cussed out all the way home for driving around the world for a tree I didn't even buy and could have bought that tree right here at the Lowe's at home.

Whew I am exausted from all that riga-more-roar. But I am a happy camper because I now am the proud owner of a fake tree that looks real. I will have to own this one he said for at least 5 years. So I guess I better be happy with it.

My New Fav Scrappy Stores

Thanks to April she has turned me on to some really good scrappy sites. I am just filling my cart up in between blogs with all sorts of great paper from Rocky Mountain Hobbies and A Peek Into Yesterday. These are some good scrappy sites for those who are interested or don't have many local scrap shops in your area.

Happy Turkey Day!!

Well turkey day was good..ate way too much...I think girl here is going to skip supper tonight..Woo I'm stuffed. Anyway Happy T-Day to all. Hope you had a great time.

Here are a few pics from my day. We went to New Orleans to my aunt Pam's house. No she didn't flood. Can't believe it. All she had was minor damage. There was about 24 of us there. We had a great time. The kids decided during the meal they wanted to act like hoodlums. Hey what can I expect that is par for the course. They were tired and overwhelmed by all the people and excitement.

I haven't seen some of my family in quite awhile so I was excited to spend some time with them.

Jessica (my cousin) and I

All the girl cousins
Left to Right: Jessica, Me, Megan, Jennifer
Notice Megan's shirt. How cute is that. They have others that are super cute also. One of them is Girls Gone Wild then it says Katrina and Rita

the boys are my brother Rog and Matt my cousin. (megan's bro)

I was hoping we would be able to get a great family pic but it was to hectic.. I was dying to use the Rebel on the tripod. Guess i'll do that another time. DARN!!

Greenbay Packers Suck

Can I tell you how much I hate Brett Favre. I cannot stand that prick. I root for the opposite team that is playing them. He lived about 20 minutes from my parents so I had the "pleasure" of knowing him and his siblings. Blech!! I thought I had a disfunctional family. Please!! My family is soooo normal compared to his. He has a brother who is a drunk who got his best friend killed after he so brilliantly decided he was going to try and out run a train. His sister is a drug headed slut who was involved in a driveby shooting several years ago with some thug friends of hers. Oh gosh I could go on for days but I will spare you. Just had to get that off my chest. Anyway...today was ok...I started my Christmas shopping..Woo Hoo.. I love Christmas it's my favorite time of the year. I love the smell of a real tree, I love the smell of fresh baked pies, too bad I don't like baking though, I love the decorating, the hot chocolate, I just love it all. What I am really looking forward to the most is now Mason is at an age where he understands the whole santa claus thing and to see the excitement on his face on Christmas morning just makes everything perfect.
O'Neil on the other hand is such a scrooge. He moans and groans this time every year because I like to decorate the house with lights and yard figures. He just can't understand the whole concept of the holiday spirit I guess. Who knows..what can I say he's a man. Bah Humbug!!

Wreath Party!!

The Sunday after Thanksgiving I am hosting a "Wreath Party" at my house. It should be alot of fun. I am inviting 3 friends over and we are going to create a wreath and eat a light lunch with alot of snacking. Here is the invitations I have made. I thought they came out pretty darn cute. I wanted to keep them real simple since my time of craftiness is limited due to the kids climbing all over me just when I sit down and get started.

New Video for the Week!

SCISSOR SISTERS!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM. THEY ROCK!!
(SINGING ALONG) Do it, take ya mama out all night....

What a Day!!

Well today I went and got my nails filled and cleaned my house. I cannot stand a mess and let me tell ya. IT WAS A WRECK. I feel so much better now that I have been Cinderella today.

Oh by the way I found a great dessert recipe for the holiday's and it is real simple. I HATE to cook or bake but I didn't mind this. (Paula make sure you copy this one down it's a A+)

Chocolate Passion Bowl

Pic out magazine

My pic...Hahaha not as pretty as the magazine but hey it taste yummy!
Told you I wasn't a baker I just throw that crap in a bowl. I never understood why you would waste all that time making something look so pretty just to tear it up when trying to spoon it out. Doesn't make sense to me but hey what do I know?

3 cups cold milk
2pkg (4 serving size each) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
1 tub (8 oz) COOL WHIP French Vanilla , thawed and divided
1 baked 9 inch square brownie layer, cooled, cut into 1 inch cubes
(about 5 1/2 cups)
1 pt of raspberries or strawberries

Pour milk into large bowl, add pudding mix, beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Gently stir in 1 cup of whipped topping.

Place half the brownie cubes in 2 quart serving bowl; top with half of the pudding, half the raspberries or strawberries and half of the remaining whipped topping. Repeat all layers

Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. Store leftovers in the refrigerator. ( That's a no brainer)

Makes 16 servings at about 2/3 cup each.

BEWARE IT'S RICH BUT DELISH!!

Finger Lickin Good!!

Mason didn't like my dessert. He's turned into such a picky eater these days. I can always count on Melana. She'll eat anything. She's my "See food will eat" baby.

On to other things:

First Melana decided she was going to be a plumber when she grows up!

She was playing with my shoes (as she always does) and Melissa happen to look under the table and this is what she saw.
If she could walk around naked she would. I am constantly having to fix her diaper. I can only imagine when she gets potty trained and she has on big girl undies. Does anyone know where I can get a lock and key?

Last weekend..Yes I am late on the pics..we took the kids to see Chicken Little, which was cute by the way. This was Melana's first movie and boy was she terrible. She will not be going to the movies for a while. She didn't want to watch but certain parts of the movie. Instead she had much rather climb from me to her daddy. That got annoying after the 2nd and 3rd time.

Watch out guys the Chicken don't poop on ya!!

Before the show we let them play in the arcade area for about 30 minutes. I'm still not sure who had the most fun. Mason, Melana or O'Neil.

Now that I have this Fabu camera (don't hate me April)(wink) I can't wait to take shot of the kids in their xmas outfits.

Votes
Yeee Hawww Baby 100%

I think he is cute. I am still not sure. I know I am a retard. What I can say for sure though is that is one SEXY video.

Miss Melana and her Moods

Well here are a few pics I thought I would share with you regarding Miss Melana. For those of you who know her need I say more. For the ones who don't let me fill you in. Melana is very, did I say very demanding and moody. She must get her way. Of course I don't know where she gets that from (wink). She will not smile to save her little soul if she isn't in the "mood".

First she did NOT want to take pictures and here is the proof..

She was mad as hell she had to take this picture.
At one point she actually threw her a hissy fit.
After about 5 shots and we called it quits then queen ( in training that is) decides she wants to take more. Well I told her no we were finished and this is the picture that was captured.

Hmmph! Isn't she just something? I didn't expect anything less!!

Pages for the Scrap Book

Here are some of the pages I promised from the previous post.

That's me on the left and Elizabeth on the right. We did take some time out of our busy "work" day to pose for a quick pic.

Ride Em Cowboy!

This was Mason's first trip to the beach. He wasn't to crazy about the feel of the sand on his feet but he soon got over it.

Another Beach Page

Melana Elise..age 19 months in this picture

The title of this page is "Hair"larious.
(This page is still under construction. I had a brain cramp and had to re-group)

He loves to take a bath and make funny faces at me when I have the camera.
